Overview of the Exams Page

Overview of the Exams Page

Upon entering this page, you will see all the exams you have created, along with various options for managing them. This page also provides the capability to create a new exam. Depending on whether an exam is published, drafted, suspended, archived, or its current status, some options may not be available to you.

Exam Status

  1. Published: The exams that have been successfully published can be found in this tab. The published exams can be found in one of these states:
  1. Pending: Exams that have not started yet.
  2. Running: Exams that have started and are currently in progress.
  3. Almost Done: Exams that will finish in less than 30 minutes.
  4. Done: Exams that have already been completed.
  1. Draft: This tab shows the exams that have not completed the publication process and are Saved as a Draft by you in one step of exam creation. Clicking the Complete option will take you to the same step where you saved your exam as a draft, provided that the exam time has not expired. Otherwise, you will be directed to the first stage of exam creation, allowing you to change the time and then finalize and publish the exam.
  2. Suspended: If you have decided to suspend an exam for any reason, and provided that the start time has not yet been reached, you can use this option to keep it suspended so that participants cannot see it.
  3. Archived: This tab displays exams that have been done and then archived.

Options of the Exam Page

  1. Search: Search for exams by their name.
  2. Sort: Sort exams by date or name.
  3. Filter: Filter exams based on their type.
  4. Select: This option enables you to select all or multiple exams at once and then apply your desired action to them. The available actions may vary across different pages, and those differences will be explained separately.
  5. Total: Displays the total number of exams on the current tab.
  6. Exam Button: If you wish to create a new exam, simply click the Exam button. For more details, refer to this article.

Option of the Published Tab

  1. Report Button: This button is inactive when no calculations have been performed on the exam. However, if this option is active, you can view a complete report of the exam and the participants’ performance by clicking on it. Keep in mind that the exam report will be automatically generated shortly after the end of the exam, provided that it does not include any free response questions.
  2. Mark Exam Button: If an exam contains even one Free Response question, this option will become active on the exam card, allowing you to mark the exam manually. Clicking on this option will take you to a page where you can see the participant’s response, define the correct answer along with comments, and score the question.
Notes
Note: If you have already marked an exam but need to do so again, you can use the More Options on the exam card to re-mark it.
  1. More Options Icon: Clicking on the three-dot icon provides you with the following options:
  1. Notification: You can use this option to set up and send a notification to participants for an exam that has not yet started (Pending) or is currently ongoing (Running). Your notification can be sent through various means (such as SMS or email) and can have different levels of importance.
  2. Get Link: Use this option to share exams that have not started or are currently running.
  3. Suspend (based on the status of the exam): You can temporarily suspend a pending (has not yet started) exam using this option.
  4. Archive (based on the status of the exam): To archive exams that have been done.
  5. Cancel (based on the status of the exam): To cancel a pending or even a running exam permanently. Immediately upon canceling the exam at any time, an announcement will be displayed within the exam or on the exam start page for the participant. Even if the participant's account has an email, a notification email will also be sent to them.
  6. Remark Exam: This is used to remark an exam that contains Free Response questions and has previously been marked once.
  7. Manual Marking: This feature is used when you intend to perform manual marking (calculation). Even if the exam is in Running mode, you can use this option, and the calculation will execute the moment you click this button. If you do not choose manual marking, it will be executed automatically after the end of the exam. Manual marking is not available for exams less than one hour in duration.
  8. Details (the exam calculation logs): This option displays the exam result calculation date and time, along with its status. For exams that do not have Free Response questions, an automatic log is recorded at the exact date and time of the end of the exam, which remains in the Delayed mode until the exam concludes and the automatic calculation is completed, at which point it changes to Complete mode. For Free Response questions, an automatic log is not recorded, and the log will be the same time as manually marking the exam for all participants and executing the calculation.
  9. Note: When creating an exam and specifying the Exam Correction Interval, along with automatic calculation at the end of the exam, a log will also be recorded for all intervals you specified. When the time for each interval arrives, the calculation will execute, and the status of that log will change to Complete.
  10. Quick Report: The quick report will show you some information about absent and present participants and live participants, along with the number of questions, even if the exam is currently running. Live Participants are individuals currently on the Start Exam Page or on the exam page itself, while attended participants are those who have attended their exam at least once.
  11. Info Button: To find details regarding the exam, the timing of the exam, and its sections.

Option of the Draft Tab

  1. Complete: Clicking this option will take you to the same step where you saved your exam as a draft, provided that the exam time has not expired. Otherwise, you will be directed to the first stage of exam creation, allowing you to change the time and then finalize and publish the exam.
  2. Publish: If an exam is in draft mode, but all creation steps are complete, you will see this option. Clicking it will publish your exam directly.
  3. More Options Icon: Clicking on the three-dot icon provides you with the following options:
  1. Duplicate: For copying an exam.
  2. Delete: Use this option to delete an exam.

Option of the Suspended Tab

  1. Unsuspend Button:  This option unsuspends the exam that has previously been suspended, provided that the finish time has not yet arrived.
  2. More Options Icon: Clicking on the three-dot icon provides you with the following options:
  1. Delete: Use this option to delete an exam.
  2. Details: To find the exam calculation logs.

Option of the Archived Tab

  2. Restore Button: Restores an archived exam back to the list of published exams.
  3. More Options Icon: Clicking on the three-dot icon provides you with the following options:
  1. Bulk Restore: After selecting multiple exams, this option enables you to restore them all to the published exams page at the same time.
