Understanding Users, Groups, and Members on DoExam

Understanding Users, Groups, and Members on DoExam

In this section, we'll explain the concepts of Users, Groups, and Members and what their differences are.

Users

The first thing you need to do in order to use DoExam and its features, is to register and log in on its web-based platform. Once you're logged in, no matter what your role is, you’ll be recognized as a User and you’ll have access to sections of the platform that are relevant to your role.

Groups

A group is a collection of users who have joined together for a shared goal. Each group includes the public profile information of its users, like usernames or email addresses, as well as more specific information in that group, like access levels. Users can join multiple groups without limitations.

Members

Members are users who have been added to a specific group. Once a user becomes a member of a group, all of the settings and permissions defined for that group then apply to the new member, based on their access level.
